Jaya Ahsan, one of the most celebrated stars across Bangladesh and West Bengal, is set to make her debut on the small screen in a new role. Rather than appearing as an actress or presenter, she will feature as a special guest on Sun Bangla’s popular reality show, “Lakh Takar Lokkhi Labh”.

Hosted by renowned Kolkata actress Sudipta Chakraborty, the special episode featuring Jaya will air on 31 July at 7pm. The shooting for the episode has already been completed. Sudipta also confirmed the appearance by posting a photograph with the actress on social media.

This marks Jaya Ahsan’s first-ever appearance on a reality television programme in India. “Lakh Takar Lokkhi Labh” is a women-centric show that brings together participants from different parts of West Bengal, who share their inspiring stories of struggle, resilience and determination. Alongside emotional conversations, contestants compete in a series of games for exciting rewards.

In the special episode, Jaya listens to the contestants’ personal journeys, offers words of encouragement and motivates them to pursue their dreams despite life’s challenges. Her warm interaction with the participants adds an emotional touch to the programme.
