A new track titled “Ki Hoilo” by Bangladeshi hip-hop and rap artiste Crown Engine has been released as a tribute to legendary musician Abdul Latif. Blending hip-hop and rap elements, the song presents a contemporary interpretation while drawing inspiration from one of Abdul Latif’s best-known compositions.

The track incorporates lyrics from the iconic song “Porer Jayga, Porer Jomi, Ghor Banaya Ami Roi”, reflecting Crown Engine’s effort to connect the legendary musician’s work with a modern musical approach.

Crown Engine serves as the artist, composer and lyricist of “Ki Hoilo”, while Ali Adnan Ador provides vocals for the chorus. Critical Mahmud is the music producer, and M R Rabbi handled the beat production. Arian Hasan and Tirtha Chakraborty played the guitar.

Speaking about the song, Crown Engine said, “In ‘Ki Hoilo’, I tried to showcase my musical vision by combining rap rhythms with a hip-hop atmosphere. I hope listeners will enjoy the song in their own way.”

The song was recorded at Hall of Critics Studio, with mixing and mastering handled by Critical Mahmud. “Ki Hoilo” is now available on the Gaanchill Music YouTube channel.
