Bangladesh recorded four more deaths with measles symptoms and 938 new suspected cases in the past 24 hours, the country’s health authorities said on Sunday.
According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) bulletin, 113 cases of measles were confirmed between 8am Saturday and 8am Sunday, with no confirmed deaths during the same period.
During the same period, 95 people died from confirmed measles, while 693 deaths were reported among suspected cases.
Besides, a total of 96,521 patients have recovered so far, the DGHS said.
