Following the remarkable success of the blockbuster “Barbaad”, Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan is set to reunite with director Mehedi Hasan Hridoy for a new big-screen venture, tentatively titled “Nishho”.

Shakib recently teased the upcoming collaboration through a social media post featuring director Mehedi Hasan Hridoy and producer Shahrin Sultana Sumi. Sharing the photo, he wrote, “Barbaad team is returning again. Let’s make history again,” sparking excitement among fans.

The film will reportedly be produced by Real Energy Production, the same banner behind “Barbaad”. Producer Shahrin Sultana Sumi had earlier revealed that an official announcement would be made soon, after which the production team will begin filming.

Although the title “Nishho” has yet to be officially confirmed, it has already generated considerable buzz within the industry. More details, including the cast and storyline, are expected to be unveiled during the formal announcement.

Released during Eid last year, “Barbaad” emerged as one of the biggest commercial successes in recent Bangladeshi cinema. Starring Shakib Khan alongside Idhika Paul, the action drama received an overwhelming response from audiences and performed strongly at the box office. The producers claimed the film earned more than Tk 75 crore, making it one of the highest-grossing Bangladeshi films in recent years.
