Three vegetable traders were killed and three others were injured in a road accident on Dhaka-Chattogram highway in Sonargaon upazila of Narayanganj early Saturday.
The deceased were identified as Kabir Hossain, 35, Amir Hossain, 40, and Al Mamun, 30 of Sonargaon.
The accident took place when they fell from a pick-up van after it was hit by a truck near Darikandi bus stand around 2:30am, Eyaur Rahman, a sub-inspector of Sonargaon Police Station, said.
Six injured vegetable traders were taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctors declared three of them dead, the police official said.
