Popular Bangladeshi singer Imran Mahmudul, widely regarded as one of the leading voices of his generation, has completed 18 years of his journey in the music industry.
After releasing albums during the early years of his career, Imran successfully adapted to the digital era, delivering a series of popular modern songs as well as memorable tracks for films.
The National Film Award-winning singer is currently on a musical tour in the United States, where he has been busy performing in shows across different states.
Reflecting on his 18-year journey, Imran said that becoming the first runner-up in “Channel i Shera Kontho” marked the beginning of a small dream that has since grown into a remarkable journey.
“The greatest achievement of these 18 years is the love of my listeners and audience,” he said, expressing gratitude to everyone who has listened to, sung, shared, loved and even criticised his work.
“This is not the end of the journey; it is the beginning of another new chapter. As long as my voice allows, I want to keep singing,” Imran added.
Among his popular songs are “Tumi Dure Dure”, “Diyechi Toke Dil”, “Anmona”, “Ore Jaan”, “Jonom Jonom”, “Ami Nei Amate”, “Jani Parbo Na”, “Eto Bhalobashi”, “Bolo Sathiyaa” and “Ghum Ghum Chokhe”.
