In a continuation of highlighting the country’s history, tradition and folk culture, the upcoming episode of the popular magazine show “Ityadi” has been filmed in the river-bound coastal district of Lakshmipur. The stage was set up in the open courtyard of the Centenary Nabin Kishore High School in the district headquarters, which is a historical place associated with the memories of the Dalal Bazar Zamindarbari.
There was a festive atmosphere throughout Lakshmipur surrounding the show. The venue was filled with many times more spectators than its capacity.
This episode will feature special songs sung by Lakshmipur singers Tanjina Ruma and Sajia Sultana Putul, a district introductory dance song, the participation of popular actress Dilara Zaman and a special interview with Nishat Majumdar, the first Bangladeshi woman to conquer Everest.
Apart from this, there will be reports on the history and tradition of Lakshmipur, natural beauty, the life struggle of a fisherman affected by river erosion, foreign episodes, Kashem TV, letters and satirical dramas on various contemporary issues.
Written, directed and presented by Hanif Sanket, “Ityadi” is produced by Phagun Audio Vision. The new episode will be aired on Bangladesh Television after 8pm Bangla Sangbad on 31 July.
