At least nine people were killed and many others injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a truck at Barobazar area in Kaliganj upazila of Jhenaidah on Wednesday afternoon.
The identities of the deceased could not be known yet.
Kaliganj Fire Service Station Officer Sheikh Mamunur Rashid confirmed the accident to media and said that the tragic accident took place at 3:00 pm.
