The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested eight members, including the prime leader of the international human trafficking ring in Middle East in different areas in the capital early Wednesday.
ASP A N M Imran Khan, Assistant Director of RAB’s Legal and Media Wing, confirmed this information to media.
He said eight people, including key leader Tutul and his associate Taiyab, have been arrested in city’s Badda and Savar areas at 1:00am.
Tutul is an owner of overseas company from grocery shopkeeper by human trafficking.
Details will be disclosed at a press conference at the RAB media center in Karwanbazar this afternoon, he said.
