Trader dies in Feni road crash, wife, children injured

Shawdesh Desk: A trader was killed and his wife and two children were injured in a road accident in Feni’s Sonagazi upazila on Sunday morning.
The accident occurred around 7:30 am at Laxmipur Puratan Road under the upazila.
The dead was Nizam Uddin, 45, a resident of Dakshin Mangalkandi village under the upazila.
According to locals, a covered van and a CNG-powered auto-rickshaw collided head-on in that area. Trader Nizam Uddin, who was in the auto-rickshaw, died on the spot and his wife with two children were injured.
Later, his injured wife and two children were rescued and sent to Feni General Hospital.
Sonagazi Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Bayezid Akand confirmed it.
