Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Sunday expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Sahan Ara Begum, wife of Abul Hasnat MP, vice president of Barishal district Awami League and a valiant freedom fighter.
She prayed for the eternal salvation of the departed soul and expressed sympathy to the bereaved family.
Sahan Ara, also mother of Barishal City Mayor Serniabat Sadiq Abdullah, breathed her last on Sunday night at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU).
