PM mourns death of Moinuddin Khan Badal

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of veteran politician and parliament member Moinuddin Khan Badal.
In a condolence message, the prime minister recalled with profound respect the contributions of Badal to politics.
“The nation has lost a dedicated politician in his death,” she said.
Sheikh Hasina prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family.
Badal, the executive president of a faction of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD), passed away at a hospital in Bangalore in India this morning at the age of 67.
He was elected lawmaker from Chattogram-8 constituency.
