One killed in lightning strike in Sylhet

A 45-year-old man was killed in a lightning strike while grazing cows at Lakshmipasha union of Kanaighat upazila in Sylhet on Monday morning.

The deceased was identified as Mahtab Uddin, resident of village Bazar Darpanagar West (Karchati) of the upazila.

Kanaighat Police Station officer-in-charge Jahangir Hossain Sardar confirmed the death.
