Mysterious death of a couple in Mymeningh

The bodies of a woman and her husband were found under mysterious circumstances in Bonnabari village in Fulbaria of Mymensingh.
The woman’s body was found floating in a pond and her husband’s body was found hanging from a tree near the pond.
The deceased were identified as Aklima Khatun, 39, and her husband Iman Ali, 45, son of Naib Ali of Bonnabari village.
Fulbaria Police Station Officer-in-Charge Firoz Talukder confirmed the incident and said: “We have interrogated the locals at noon. The police are yet to figure out if this is a case of homicide or suicide.”
