Shawdesh Desk: Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen congratulated India’s West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for her landslide win in the Bhabanipur by-election.
In a congratulatory letter, Bangladesh foreign minister expressed his hope that the relation between Bangladesh and the West Bengal will be strengthened further for mutual prosperity and development in the days to come, a foreign ministry press release said Monday.
The West Bengal chief minister and Trinamool Congress president Mamata Banerjee won a landslide victory from home turf Bhowanipore by over 58,000 votes on Sunday.
