The lead vocalist of Nagarbaul Band Mahfuz Anam James has filed a case against Banglalink under copyright law for using his song as a welcome tune for 14 years without permission.
The band superstar James appeared before the Dhaka lower court on Wednesday (November 10) at 11.50am to file a case.
He filed the case in the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge KM Imrul Kayesh. Additional Public Prosecutor (PP) of the concerned court Tapas Kumar Pal confirmed the information.
