HSC, equivalent exams to begin 2 July

The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations for 2026 will begin on 2 July.
The decision was taken at a meeting held at the Secondary and Higher Education Division of the Ministry of Education on Saturday. Education Minister ANM Ehsanul Hoque Milon presided over the meeting.
Dhaka Education Board’s Controller of Examinations Prof SM Kamal Uddin confirmed the matter to the media.
Earlier, the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee had initially decided to hold the exams from 7 June. The new date was announced after revising that decision.
