He made the statements while speaking to journalists at his office at the Ministry of Commerce in the Secretariat.
“The Boeing business isn’t handled by the US government — it’s managed by the company itself,” said the secretary. “We have placed an order to purchase 25 aircraft from Boeing.”
He added, “Just as India has ordered 100 aircraft, so have Vietnam and Indonesia. Boeing will deliver them based on their production capacity, so it will take them quite some time to supply these.”
