He made the remark after placing wreaths at the grave of the party founder, Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman, in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar area of Dhaka on Monday.
Rizvi also called upon the Election Commission (EC) to deploy nonpartisan officials at the grassroots levels across the country so that the 13th parliamentary election is held in a free, fair and credible manner.
Alongside, he urged the government to remove all pro-Awami League officials from every strata of the administration to make its efforts in holding a fair election in February successful.
