Elections to Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) and Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) will be held in January next year.
Election Commission secretary Md Alamgir came up with the announcement at a press conference at the capital’s Nirbachan Bhaban on Sunday.
However, the EC did not take any decision regarding the Chattogram City Corporation (CCC) election.
