Popular actor Ziaul Faruq Apurba has previously written stories for several television plays during his career. The first drama based on his story “Swapner Neel Pori” was directed by Chayanika Chowdhury.
Now, director Taneem Rahman Angshu has brought another of Apurba’s stories to the screen through a new romantic drama titled “Achena Aami”. Besides writing the story, Apurba has also written the screenplay for the play, making the project even more special for his fans. Actress Naznin Nahar Niha stars opposite him in the drama. The play is scheduled to premiere on Capital Drama’s YouTube channel a day after Eid.
The story mainly revolves around Rifat, his cousin Vicky, and a young woman named Shyama. Rifat is the only son of the owner of a renowned builders company in the country. He is educated, smart, and sophisticated, but deeply disappointed because he believes people are interested in him only because of his wealth and social status. During a conversation with his cousin Vicky, Rifat expresses his frustration about fake relationships. Vicky then introduces him to Shyama, a girl who dislikes wealthy and influential people and is completely different from others Rifat has met before. From there, the drama unfolds with romance, emotions, and self-discovery.
The shooting of “Achena Aami” has already been completed at different locations in Dhaka and Chattogram. According to director Taneem Rahman Angshu, the play highlights not only romance but also the deeper understanding of life, relationships, and the emotional journey of losing and finding loved ones.
Alongside producing Anwarul Alam Sajal is also play important role in “Achena Aami”.  The drama also features performances by Tariq Anam Khan, Shamapty Mashuq, Labonno, and others.
