Six more people died with measles-like symptoms across the country in the past 24 hours, four of them in the Dhaka division, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

During the same period, 733 patients with measles symptoms were admitted to hospitals, the DGHS said in a press release issued on Thursday.

The figures cover the 24-hour period from 8am on Wednesday.

According to the DGHS, a total of 764 people have died with measles-like symptoms since 15 March.

Of them, 96 deaths have been confirmed as being caused by measles.
