Actors work on new dramas and characters throughout the year but ahead of special days, showbiz stars, along with directors are always pass quite busy time with working on new preparations and characters. In that continuation, Eid preparations are underway in the drama community.
To meet the needs of the entertainment-hungry audience in the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr festival, television and YouTube channels have come up with entertainment packages, along with some OTT platforms. The rush to produce Eid dramas has been noticed since the first month of the year. The production rate has increased since last month. Almost all the star actors of the small screen have been busy shooting in this time.
Among the artistes, Mosharraf Karim, Ziaul Faruk Apurba, Niloy Alamgir, Abdun Noor Sajal, FS Nayem, Sabila Nur, Keya Payel, Jannatul Sumaiya Himi and Nadia are prominent.
Mosharraf Karim has started working on Eid since last month. The actor was seen in highest number of dramas during last year’s Eid-ul-Azha.
Mosharraf Karim said, “I have started the work. It is difficult to say for sure how much projects will be released on Eid. I can say that many dramas will come. It turned out that many Eid dramas are not released at the last minute due to various reasons. However, when it comes to Eid work, I never prioritise numbers. I try to entertain the audience through good story-based works.”
Ziaul Faruk Apurba is busy with dramas all year round. However, he appears with some special work on some days and festivals. Along with TV dramas, his presence in OTT content has also impressed the audience. He also received a good response with the drama “Mon Duari” on Valentine’s Day. The actor will be seen in several projects on the occasion of upcoming Eid. However, the audience’s interest has increased with the web film “How Sweet” starring Apurba which is scheduled to be released on Eid.
Popular TV actor Abdun Noor Sajal is now more busy with movies. However, he is also working on small screen. He recently completed the shooting for a telefilm titled “Tumi Ami O Se”.
The popular and busiest pair of the small screen in this time is Niloy Alamgir and Jannatul Sumaiya Heme. They appear with about a dozen dramas every Eid. These two actors have said that this time will be no exception.
Popular drama actor Sabila Noor also has completed shooting of three dramas.
Actress Keya Payel is also busy with Eid drama work. She has already completed several dramas. She is currently busy with shooting.
On the other hand, several star artistes including Tanjin Tisha, Safa Kabir, Irfan Sajjad, Salha Khanam Nadia, Nadia Ahmed, Mousumi Hamid, Nilanjana Nila, AKM Hasan, Tausif Mahbub, Jovan are also known to be busy with Eid dramas.
