Renowned rock singer James entertained the audience at the launching ceremony of Bangladesh SSC 98 Friends Foundation at the Hall of Fame of Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in Dhaka on Friday, said a press release.

Tree saplings were distributed to the participants to raise awareness about the environment and 30 doctors were honoured for their contribution during the Covid-19 period. Besides, a memoir containing group members’ stories, poems and writings was published at the event.

The daylong event also featured a play titled ‘Our Superman’, directed by Sarkar Ronak Ripon. Members of the group played different characters in the play.

Besides, popular actresses Nadia and Mou entertained the audience by staging dance recitals while popular singers Shiblu and Parvez entertained the audience by rendering different songs.

Organiser Mushfiqul Islam said that the foundation wanted to do good deeds by working together with friends both at home and abroad.
