SUST halls reopen after 28-day closure

All residential halls at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (Sust) reopened on Monday after a 28-day closure.
However, online classes will begin on Tuesday while physical classes on February 22.
The university authorities took the decisions at a Syndicate meeting on Sunday evening.
The authorities announced the closure of the halls on January 16 after a group of agitating students confined Vice Chancellor Prof Farid Uddin Ahmed during a demonstration.
Mentionable, students of SUST on Saturday announced the withdrawal of their movement after 27 days.
