Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina gave financial assistance of Taka 21 lakh to Nomita Ghosh, an artiste of Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra, for her treatment.
“Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina donated Tk 21 lakh to Nomita Ghosh for the treatment of her cancer and eyes,” PM’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim told journalists.
He said the cheque for the amount was sent to the family of the artiste on Wednesday.
