Four members of a family were killed as a lightning strike them in Chandpur at this noon (Sunday).
The incident took place at the estuary of Meghna River at noon on Sunday.
The deceased were identified as Wahida Begum, Wahida’s daughter Rehena Begum, Rehena’s son Sabbir and daughter Samiya.
The tragedy happened around 1:30 pm (October 6), according to Mizanur Rahman, Additional Superintend of Police (ASP) of Chandpur.
