A total of 35 police inspectors (unarmed) have been promoted to the post of Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP).
The home ministry issued a notification signed by Dhananjay Kumar Das, deputy secretary of the police-1 branch of the public security division of the ministry, on Wednesday.
