World Bank projects 7.2pc GDP growth this fiscal year

The World Bank has projected Bangladesh’s economic growth to be 7.2 percent this fiscal year that is 1 percentage points less than the government’s projection of 8.2 percent.

The projection was made in its latest Bangladesh update, unveiled at its Dhaka office on Thursday.
