Voting began at the National Press Club in the capital on Saturday morning.
The election are being held in 10 polling stations across the country, including Dhaka, from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
Abdul Jalil Bhuiyan, Abu Jafar Surja and Omar Farooq are contesting for the president post while Abdul Majid, Deep Azad and Layekuzzaman are competing for the post of general secretary.
