Verdicts in the cases filed over July Uprising atrocities will be delivered during the present government’s tenure, Law Adviser Asif Nazrul said at an uprising anniversary programme on Tuesday.

The culprits will be tried in such a way that none can raise questions against the proceedings in the future, the adviser said while speaking at the Judicial Administration Training Institute in the capital.

“I personally believe no future government will neglect the trial process, as all of the potential candidates suffered at the hands of the fascist Awami League men,” Asif Nazrul said.

He admitted that the government has committed mistakes in running the country due to an acute lack of experience, but noted that there has been no shortage in efforts.
