VAT imposes on foreign TV channels, Facebook, YouTube July 1

Shawdesh Desk: 15 percent VAT is going to be imposed on satellite channels and tech companies offering digital services without an office in the country from next fiscal.
The instruction has been issued by National Board of Revenue (NBR) on Wednesday.
It is said in the instruction letter signed by NBR’s first secretary (Musk Policy) Hasan Muhammad Tarek Rikabdar, 15 percent VAT will be paid for advertisements on Facebook, YouTube and broadcasting foreign television channels from July 1.
