Two youths were killed when a truck hit a motorcycle carrying them in Demra area of the capital early Wednesday.
The deceased were identified as Akash, 21, Oshik, 19.
Quoting locals, Bacchu Mia, in-charge of DMCH Police Outpost, said a sand-laden truck hit the motorcycle on which Ahash and Oshik were riding in the area, leaving them injured.
Later, locals took the injured to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital where duty doctors declared Akash dead and Oshik succumbed to his injuries around 4:00 am at the hospital while undergoing treatment, he said.
