Three policemen were killed and two others were injured as a train hit a police van at Sitakunda in Chattogram on Sunday.
The accident took place as a Chattogram-bound Sonar Bangla train hit the police van at Fokirhat rail crossing of Sitakunda upazila in Chattogram, said Abu Tyeb Md Arif, additional police superintendent of Chattogram district police.
The deceased were members of Sitakunda police station, he said.
