Tension erupts again along Bangladesh-India border in Chapainawabganj

A day after India reaffirmed its commitment to move its relationship with Bangladesh in a positive direction, tension flared again along the Bangladesh-India border following a feud over cutting a branch of a mango tree in Shibganj Upazila of Chapainawabganj on Saturday.
The incident of chase and counter-chase took place in citizens of both countries at the zero point in the area and several Bangladeshis sustained injuries.
However, the identities of the victims could not be known immediately.
