Syrian security forces “executed” 162 civilians Friday, including women and children, in the Mediterranean heartland of ousted president Bashar al-Assad’s Alawite minority, a war monitor said.
“Five separate massacres claimed the lives of 162 civilians in the Syrian coastal region Friday, among them women and children,” said the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
