Shawdesh Desk: Famous singer Kumar Bishwajit’s mother Shova Rani De has passed away at the age of 83.
She breathed her last at around 4:00 am on Thursday at a hospital in the capital, family sources confirmed.
Her body will be cremated on this afternoon at the capital’s Postogola cremation centre.
The mother was conferred ‘Garbini Maa’ (Proud Mother) award by the authorities of United Hospital in 2018.
Kumar Bishwajit lost his father Sadhon Ranjan De in 1994.
