Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration, Md Mokhlesur Rahman, has been withdrawn from his post.

According to a notification issued on Sunday by the Senior Appointment-1 Branch of the Ministry, Md Ruhul Amin has been appointed as Officer on Special Duty (Secretary) of the ministry. He was previously serving at the Planning Commission.

The order, signed by Deputy Secretary Mohammad Rafiqul Haque, states that the directive has been issued in the public interest and will take immediate effect.

Mokhlesur Rahman, an officer of the 1982 batch of the BCS Administration cadre, was appointed Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration in August 2024, following the fall of the fascist government during the July mass uprising.
