RMG workers block roads at Mirpur in city demanding wages, Eid bonus

Garments workers blocked several roads in Mirpur in the capital Dhaka on Saturday demanding salary arrears, overtime wages and bonus for the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.
Garments workers of Cotton Textile and Apparels took to the street at 9:00am to press their demand.
As a result, transport movement has been halted from Mirpur-10 to Mirpur-12.
Moreover, drivers were forced to use Mirpur-11 as alternative route.
Officer-in-charge (OC) of Pallabi Police Station said garments workers blocked roads.
The law enforcers were trying to convince them to leave roads, the OC said.
