RAB arrests former Noakhali-4 lawmaker Ekramul in Ctg

Rapid Action Battalion on Tuesday night arrested Awami League lawmaker for Noakhali-4 constituency Ekramul Karim Chowdhury in Chattogram city’s Khulshi area.
Ekramul Karim was accused in five cases, including murders in Noakhali areas, said a RAB-7 press release issued in the early hours of Wednesday.
An official of RAB-7 said that they arrested him at about 11:45pm.
‘We have handed him over to the Khulshi police,’ the official added.
