Prices of fish and vegetable have decreased after Eid-ul-Azha amid excessive price hike of essentials.

On the other hand, the prices of seven daily commodities include green chilli, ginger, onion, potato, tomato, edible oil and sugar are still rising.

Common people are unable to procure the products. Low income people are returning home with discomfort due to price hike. They cannot buy essential products with limited money.

It was declared on Tuesday that prices of bottled Soyaben oil will reduce by Tk 10 and open palm oil by Tk 5 supposed to be effective from Wednesday.

Visiting Malibagh, Shantinagar and Segunbagicha kitchen markets on Friday, it was seen that price of edible oil did not reduce yet. Consumers are buying edible oil at the previous price.
