A fire that broke out at at Karwan Bazar in the capital on Saturday morning has been brought under control.
The fire originated in the 13th floor of the Bhaban at around 9:26am, said Ershad Hossain, a duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence.
At least seven fire fighting units brought the flame under control after their half hour hectic efforts around 10:10am.
The origin of fire and the losses at Bhaban could not be known immediately.
