Russell Biswas, a sub-inspector of special branch (SB) of police, died of coronavirus or COVID-19 at Impulse Hospital in Dhaka on Thursday afternoon.
He was admitted to the hospital after he tested positive for COVID-19. He breathed his last today afternoon, according to Sohel Rana, assistant inspector general (Media) of Police Headquarters.
A total of 15 police personnel have died after being infected with coronavirus in the country so far.
