New Cox’s Bazar SP tests positive for Covid-19

Mohammad Hasanuzzaman, newly appointed superintendent of Cox’s Bazar police, has been diagnosed with coronavirus (Covid-19).

Dr Mohammd Shahjahan Najir, an assistant professor of Cox’s Bazar Medical College, confirmed the news.

Teh samples of the SP were sent to Cox’s Bazar Medical College lab for coronavirus test on Friday and the result the came out positive on Saturday, he said.

 

Hasanuzzaman is now receiving treatment from his residence, he added.

Md Hasanuzzaman was appointed as Cox’s Bazar SP on September 17.
