Murder accused killed in city ‘gunfight’

Shawdesh Desk: A murder suspect has been killed in a gunfight with police in Satarkul of Badda in the capital early Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as Ramzan, 37. He was the main accused in the murder case of Badda union Awami League leader Farhad Ali.
Confirming the news Masudur Rahman, Sub-inspector of Badda police station said that a gunfight took place between DB police and miscreants in the area around 3:00am on Wednesday. At one stage, the criminals fled the scene.
Later, police found a bullet-injured person and sent him to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital where he died under treatment.
Two police members were also injured in the incident, the police officer added.
