JU pro-VC, treasurer resign

The Jahangirnagar University pro-vice-chancellor, administration, Professor Sheikh Md Monzurul Huq and treasurer Prof Rasheda Akhtar resigned from their respective posts on Monday.
They submitted their resignation letter to Bangladesh president Mohammed Shahabuddin, the chancellor of the university, said acting registrar of the university ABM Azizur Rahman.
Earlier, JU vice-chancellor Professor Md Nurul Alam, proctor professor Alamgir Kabir, president of provosts’ committee Professor Sayadur Rahamn and registrar Abu Hasan had resigned from their respective posts.
