The prosecution of the International Crimes Tribunal on Sunday pleaded to show former director general of the DGFI Lieutenant General (retired) Sheikh Mamun Khaled and former Feni-3 lawmaker Lieutenant General (retired) Masud Uddin Chowdhury as arrested in separate cases.
Of the two, prosecution pleaded to show Mamun Khaled arrested in an enforced disappearance case, while Chowdhury in a case lodged over alleged mass killing during the July Mass Uprising.
Confirming the matter to newsmen, prosecutor Gazi MH Tamim said they have filed the petitions with the ICT-2.
Meanwhile, the second tribunal ordered to produce the two accused before it on April 7.
Earlier, a team of the Detective Branch of Dhaka Metropolitan Police detained Masud Uddin Chowdhury during a raid conducted in the Baridhara DOHS area of the capital on March 23.
Former director general of the Directorate General of Forces Intelligence Sheikh Mamun Khaled was arrested at his Mirpur DOHS home on the night of March 25.
