An international summit on higher education held in Dhaka to connect universities in Canada to Bangladeshi students.

Some six reputed schools under Global University Systems (GUS) took part at the conference at a city hotel, said a news release on Monday.

GUS is a network of institutions, affiliates and partners that offer globally-respected courses and qualifications to students from all corners of the world.

GUS Director Natchayaa Weerawat said the Canadian universities are offering special scholarship for Bangladeshi students with various facilities.

Canada College Senior Business Development Manager Sujan Das, Flaming College Associate Director Sandeep Yadav, Niagara College Toronto’s Business Development Manager Wahid Jahan, Bangladesh University Canada West Country Manager Wahed Salman were present on the occasion.
