Former mayor of undivided Dhaka City Corporation and BNP vice-chairman Sadeque Hossain Khoka is critically ill.
Khoka, who was also a former minister, is currently undergoing treatment at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, USA.
Sairul Kabir Khan, a member of BNP chairperson’s press wing, said the BNP leader has been suffering from kidney cancer for last couple of years. But his condition deteriorated on Tuesday.
Family members requested all his admirers and well-wishers to pray for his quick recovery.
