A fire broke out in a shop in the capital’s Lalbagh area on Monday.
The fire broke out around 1:35pm at ‘Madina Mistanno Bhandar, Rashid bin Khaled, an officer at the control room of the fire service, said
On information, nine firefighting units rushed to the spot and are trying to douse the blaze, he added.
The origin of the fire and the extent of damages could not be known immediately.
No casualties were reported.
